Development & Background
The Embraer Lineage 1000/1000E was developed for individuals who wanted a luxurious penthouse experience while commuting intercontinentally. Originating from the Embraer 190 airliner, the cabin was built to compete against the Airbus ACJ319 and the Boeing Business Jet. After debuting in 2009, the 84-foot cabin drew attention for its five-zone layout with an optional master suite, shower, and dining room. Each section of the cabin is customizable to the owner or charter client's preferences, with high-quality materials, artisan finishes, and adjustable lighting that create an atmosphere closer to a boutique hotel than a typical aircraft cabin. Embraer fitted the Lineage 1000 with an enhanced Honeywell Primus Epic avionics suite and fly-by-wire controls.
In 2013, Embraer introduced the Lineage 1000E, an enhanced version with improved range, reduced weight, upgraded avionics, and new interior layouts. The "E" version also added advanced winglets and a refined pressurization system for greater comfort and efficiency, giving the Lineage 1000/1000E 26% lower operating costs while keeping its 4,600 nm range at Mach 0.82 in the 84-foot cabin.
"The Lineage 1000E doesn't feel like a private jet, it feels like a penthouse in the sky."
"It's a pilot's dream: a large jet with airline-level systems, reliability, and smooth handling."

The Embraer Lineage 1000/1000E is equipped with two General Electric CF34-10E7-B turbofan engines producing 18,500 lbs of thrust each.
