Development & Background
The Hawker lineage begins back in the 1960s starting with the BAe 125 series, which was constantly refined into the Hawker 700, 800, 800XP, and finally the Hawker 900XP, which entered production in 2007. Built on the Hawker 850XP, the Hawker 900XP had significant upgrades. Hawker used Honeywell TFE731-50R turbofan engines, which provided 4,660 lbs of thrust, offering better fuel burn and hot/high performance. New winglets improved aerodynamics and range compared to the Hawker 850XP. Pilots were equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 suite for advanced situational awareness, while passengers enjoyed enhanced insulation, LED lighting, and refined materials for a quieter and more modern environment.
"The Hawker 900XP gives us the perfect mix — spacious cabin, reliable performance, and the ability to land closer to our final destination."
"From a pilot's perspective, the 900XP is extremely forgiving and strong. From a passenger's view, it's smooth, quiet, and comfortable."
