Designed as a very light jet in the spirit of the Eclipse 500, the Mustang seats 4 to 5 passengers with a range of roughly 1,150 nautical miles — ideal for short business trips like New York to Boston, Los Angeles to Las Vegas, or Miami to Orlando.
After noticing Very Light Jets rising in popularity, Cessna developed the single-pilot certified Citation Mustang in the early 2000s. Following FAA certification in September 2006, over 475 aircraft were delivered worldwide. Powered by nimble Pratt & Whitney Canada PW615F turbofans, it cruises regionally at FL410, equipped with the same Garmin G1000 avionics commonly used to train pilots in the Cessna 172.

Cabin & Interior Experience
Seating 4 to 5 passengers comfortably, the Mustang's cabin stands 4 ft 5 in tall with a club seating layout that makes it easy to converse or work. Fold-out tables are available for catering, and optional in-flight Wi-Fi (Starlink) and table-based entertainment systems can be added.
