Recognizable by its egg-shaped fuselage and single top-mounted engine, the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 is popular for short hops such as Los Angeles to Napa, Miami to the Bahamas, or Dallas to Aspen. It's an accessible light jet for families and business executives alike, especially those comfortable flying the aircraft themselves.
The Cirrus Vision Jet was envisioned by Dale Klapmeier, with the goal of enabling private pilots to transition safely from piston or turboprop aircraft to turbojets, without the hassle of complex systems or extensive training. After FAA certification in October 2016, over 500 units have been delivered worldwide. Like the Cirrus SR22, chartering a Vision Jet comes with the safety benefits of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), the Perspective Touch+ avionics suite, and an advanced autoland system.

Cabin & Interior Experience
Step inside the Cirrus Vision Jet and you'll notice panoramic windows and a skylight, along with USB-C power points, advanced air conditioning, and a full glass avionics panel up front for the pilot. The cabin is fully configurable with removable seating, allowing luggage or equipment to be stored in the rear when extra space is needed.
Capabilities & Performance
The Cirrus Vision Jet is equipped with a single Williams International FJ33-5A turbofan producing 1,846 lbs of thrust. Combined with the aircraft's aerodynamics, this delivers a max speed of 311 KTAS, a range of 1,275 nm with reserves, and a service ceiling of 31,000 ft. Cirrus is well known for the CAPS whole-airframe parachute and Safe Return autoland — useful in emergency situations where the pilot is unable to fly the aircraft, allowing it to land safely without gliding it down manually. The Vision Jet uses Garmin-based avionics equipped with Perspective Touch+, synthetic vision, and Safe Return autoland.
