Development & Background
The Boeing BBJ MAX 7 program launched in the mid-2010s to modernize Boeing's VIP jetliner portfolio. The MAX 7 is the corporate variant of the 737 MAX 7, itself an evolution of the 737-700 and BBJ1/BBJ2 platforms, aiming for longer range, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced passenger comfort while retaining airliner-level reliability and global maintenance support.
The BBJ MAX 7 features LEAP-1B engines from CFM International, delivering higher thrust and lower fuel burn compared to the CFM56 engines used on earlier BBJ models. Advanced split-tip winglets reduce drag and improve climb performance, while structural enhancements allow a maximum takeoff weight of 86,000 kg (189,600 lbs).
First deliveries began in 2018, with VIP interiors tailored by global design firms specializing in luxury aviation cabins — integrating fully private suites, office spaces, conference rooms, and advanced entertainment systems. The MAX 7 continues Boeing's tradition of pairing commercial robustness with personalized VIP luxury.

Cabin & Interior Experience
As you step inside the BBJ MAX 7, you'll find an expansive cabin spanning 1,100 sq ft with a width of 11.6 ft and a height of 7.0 ft, offering stand-up headroom and generous space for movement. The interior can be configured with a private master suite, a boardroom or dining area for 12 to 16 passengers, and an entertainment lounge with full theater systems, plus guest seating, office spaces, and relaxation areas, complemented by a fully equipped galley and crew rest quarters.
The Sky Interior enhances the experience with LED ambient lighting, larger windows, and quieter engines, reducing cabin noise compared to previous BBJ models. Pressurization maintains a 6,500 ft cabin altitude at 41,000 ft, and connectivity includes Ka-band Wi-Fi, satellite communications, and in-flight telephony.
